Hot Off the Walls is back! This fan-favorite exhibition brings art straight from the gallery walls into the hands of collectors—while supporting Pajaro Valley Arts’ nonprofit programming and the incredible artists in our community.

A refreshed take on a beloved tradition (formerly Take Aways: Art to Go!), this year’s show is dynamic, fast-paced, and full of pieces you won’t want to leave behind.

 Open Hours: Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11:00am-4:00pm

Heart & Mind

Heart & Mind is a month-long exhibition in April featuring creative visual expression that represents the conversation between the heart and mind, the push and pull, the contradictions, their similarities, agreements, and the spiritual, mental, emotional journey that the Heart & Mind are on together in our bodies!

Featuring over 70 local Santa Cruz artists in a range of mediums and scale both visual and performing, paired with an Immersive Installation exhibit presented by a group of artists featuring performing & visual arts that engage the viewer to question, make decisions and experience both the juxtaposition and collaboration of the Heart & Mind…

  • Opening Reception: First Friday April 3, 5-9pm

The exhibits opens October 24, 2025 through January 9, 2026, Monday through Friday, 8AM - 5PM. My sculptures are on the 1st and 5th floors.

There will also be a First Friday event on December 5, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM. I will be there for the reception.

Address:  701 Ocean St, Santa Cruz. 

Parking is free in the parking lot for 1 to 2 hours during the day. And parking is free after 5PM for the First Friday event on December 5.

First Friday

Step onto the grounds of the Santa Cruz Hostel, housed in the historic Carmelita Cottages, and experience an evening of sculpture, music, and community. On April 4th, we’re hosting a special First Friday event, featuring the striking sculptures of Jeff Arnett, a Santa Cruz poet and sculptor.

As you explore the property and its beautifully preserved 19th-century cottages, enjoy live music by:
🎶 Maria Padilha – Filmmaker, singer, and storyteller from Northeast Brazil
🎸 Johnny Graves – Bay Area-based multi-instrumentalist
